One-Pan Chicken Alfredo Pasta Recipe
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 8 oz (225g) fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
- 1 cup (240ml) chicken broth
- 1 cup (100g) grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until they are no longer pink and have a golden-brown exterior, about 4-5 minutes. Remove the cooked chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
2. Prepare the Pasta: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then, add the fettuccine pasta, heavy cream, and chicken broth.
3. Simmer: Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally. Let it cook for about 12-15 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente, and the sauce has thickened.
4. Add the Chicken and Cheese: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, stirring it into the pasta and sauce. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
5. Finish and Season: Continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, and the chicken is heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Garnish and Serve: If desired, garnish with chopped fresh parsley for a burst of color and flavor.
7. Enjoy! Serve your One-Pan Chicken Alfredo Pasta hot, and relish the creamy, savory goodness without the hassle of multiple pots and pans.
